Job Title: Inspector Packer - Day Shift

Job Description

The Inspector Packer is responsible for visually inspecting manufactured parts coming off the production line for defects, assembling parts as needed, and packaging quality products according to policy, procedures, and ISO 9001 standards.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect manufactured parts for defects.

Assemble parts as needed.

Package quality products according to policy, procedures, and ISO 9001 standards.

Generate reports using intermediate computer skills.

Utilize effective problem-solving skills.

Maintain good attendance levels and demonstrate potential for growth within the company.Essential Skills

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Intermediate computer skills.

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Experience with weigh scales.

Ability to lift a minimum of 15 to 20 lbs.

Must be able to stand 12 hours per shift.

Teamwork and communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Injection or blow molding experience is a plus.

Forklift operation experience.

Experience with inventory management, RF scanner, and loading processes.

Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making abilities.Work Environment

The role involves light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. The environment is indoors, providing protection from weather conditions but not from temperature changes. There is sufficient noise to necessitate shouting to be heard above ambient noise levels. The worker will be exposed to hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or chemicals, and exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neptune, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
