Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing batch records, extracting collagen from raw materials, and shaping the collagen through molding and cutting. This role involves routine maintenance, cleaning of equipment, and ensuring sanitization of clean rooms and manufacturing areas. You will also calibrate production equipment, fill and package medical devices, and manage inventory of manufacturing supplies.
Responsibilities
Process batch records and extract collagen from raw materials.
Place collagen into molds and cut into various shapes.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
Ensure sanitization of clean rooms and manufacturing areas.
Calibrate production equipment.
Fill and package medical devices.
Maintain inventory of manufacturing supplies and requisition additional materials as needed.Essential Skills
Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, production, and material handling.
Knowledge of GMP environment.
Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
2+ years of experience in a production environment, packaging, GMP, document control, labeling, and inspection.
Understanding of cGMP environment or clean-room protocols.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm in a clean-room environment. Employees are required to be fully gowned with hair nets, masks, smocks, gloves, and shoe coverings. The role involves physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, handling objects or controls, and occasionally lifting or moving supplies up to 50 pounds.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allendale, New Jersey.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
