Job Description

This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of machinery in a bottling plant. The role includes working on conveyors, electrical systems, fillers, and other equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on plant machinery including conveyors, electrical systems, and fillers.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues using tools such as multimeters.

Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid machinery breakdowns.

Handle gearboxes, sprockets, chains, relays, fuses, and pneumatic systems.

Utilize PLC troubleshooting for efficient operation of machinery.

Interpret and work from blueprints for machine repair and maintenance.

Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently.Essential Skills

Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.

Experience with gearboxes, conveyors, and heavy equipment.

Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting safely.

Familiarity with pneumatics, air compressors, and hydraulics.

Experience using hand tools and multimeters.

Knowledge of maintenance repair and preventive maintenance.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with 480v electrical systems and 12/24 D.

Ability to interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

The work environment is an industrial setting in a hot fill bottling plant. Conditions can be hot and humid at times, requiring adaptability and resilience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of WHARTON, New Jersey.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
