Job Description
We are seeking dedicated General Machine Operators to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our injection mold machines, performing visual inspections, and assembling products to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Tend to 1 to 3 injection mold machines, starting with one machine and increasing responsibilities as training progresses.
Monitor machine run times ranging from 60 seconds to 3 1/2 minutes and ensure efficient operation.
Collaborate with process technicians for machine changeovers, running 3 to 5 different products weekly.
Remove products from machinery using end-of-arm tooling and place them onto inspection conveyors.
Conduct visual inspections and packaging of products, ensuring quality standards are met.
Engage in small sub-assemblies as required by the product specifications.
Operate a sonic welder to weld smoothie cups together or insert magnets into the cups.
Perform visual inspections to identify defects and trim any excess flash from products.
Heat resin to meet quality standards.Essential Skills
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
Capability to visually inspect products and ensure quality.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with injection mold machines is an advantage and may lead to direct placement.
Proficiency in assembly and sub-assembly processes.

Work Environment
Our manufacturing facility is clean and temperature-controlled with a drama-free atmosphere. We operate plastic injection molding machines, serving prominent clients such as Vitamix and Whirlpool. The work is not physically demanding and provides opportunities for cross-training. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with mandatory overtime as necessary. The team consists of around 20 people per shift, fostering a collaborative work environment.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
