Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler who will efficiently manage the movement of raw materials and finished goods within our production facility. This role requires operating forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring safe handling practices.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to load and unload raw materials, scrap, and finished goods within the facility.

Identify, pick, and transport correct raw materials and parts to their designated locations.

Operate all equipment in a safe manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment at all times, including safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, and eyewear.

Pick orders and replenish workstations using sit-down forklifts or pallet jacks.

Manage paper pick tickets and ensure accurate inventory counts.Essential Skills

Proficient in material handling and order picking.

Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

Ability to use RF scanners for inventory management.Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

1-2 years of manufacturing or production material handling experience.

Ability to read and understand Bills of Material.

Work Environment

The work environment is a production setting that is loud and may be dirty. The role is available in shifts: 1st shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm and 3rd shift from 11 pm to 7:30 am. Employees may be required to handle sheet metal and use hand tools to insert nuts and bolts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
