Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our painting crew as a Trainee. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to start a career in residential or commercial painting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, works well in a team, and is committed to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist experienced painters with preparation tasks including sanding, taping, masking, and priming surfaces

Learn and apply various painting techniques under supervision

Set up and clean up job sites, tools, and equipment

Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment

Load and unload materials and supplies

Perform other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader or Supervisor

Qualifications:

No prior painting experience required-training will be provided

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Comfortable working on ladders and in varying outdoor conditions

Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

Previous construction or manual labor experience

Familiarity with basic hand tools
