Job Description
We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as Panel Builders. In this role, you will be responsible for building and wiring control panels, ensuring quality and functionality. This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
Build and wire control panels using basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, hand drills, and wire cutters.
Use test equipment like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters to check the quality of panels.
Fabricate and wire control panels according to specifications.
Compare wiring and location of control devices to ensure accuracy.
Examine wiring for loose or faulty connections and test wiring circuits for malfunctions.
Label each wire in the panel for clear identification.Essential Skills
Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
Proficiency in wiring control panels.
Experience with hand tools, panel building, electrical wiring, and assembly.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and maintenance techniques.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a panel shop with an understanding of processes, quality, safety, cleanliness, and organization.
Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and ask for additional tasks when needed.
Experience as an electrician or electrician apprentice is a plus.
Experience in wiring HVAC units or similar electrical work is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is located in a very clean and temperature-controlled facility, offering a quiet and independent workspace for each panel builder. All necessary hand tools are provided, and employees are encouraged to dress casually in jeans and a t-shirt, with no need for steel-toe shoes. The shift runs from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays currently. Employees can enjoy listening to music on headphones during work hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glasgow, Kentucky.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
