Job Description
The Quality Helper plays a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of quality within our manufacturing processes. This position involves proactive inspection, reporting, and collaboration with our quality and engineering teams to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Inspect and report quality issues to Quality Engineers and Engineering Technicians for prompt resolution.
Perform random visual spot checks in various manufacturing areas such as shipping, labeling, and pre-paint to identify and correct non-conforming products.
Sign off on any RMA/Rework before it is sent back to the customer.
Assist in the development and implementation of a quality control check process.
Inspect finished products as needed and participate in special projects.
Conduct in-house offline inspections and assign product conformance labels.Essential Skills
2+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with sales, team leads, and shop personnel.
Proficient in using measuring devices such as tape measures and digital/analog calipers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing is a plus.
Experience in the Hollow Metal Industry is an advantage.
Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required.
Frequent use of both hands for gripping, holding, and typing.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The environment includes high noise levels, contact with metals and lubricants, and exposure to moving objects such as machinery and forklifts. Some areas may lack temperature control, resulting in exposure to hot or cold conditions. Employees will directly handle industrial glue and adhesive products.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
