Job Description: Foreman – Chute and Compactor Installation
Position Title: Foreman
Reports To: Project Manager
Summary Description:
The Foreman oversees and coordinates the installation of chutes and compactors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification. This role involves supervising field installers, conducting field checks, and troubleshooting on-site issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Supervision:
Directly monitor Field Installers to ensure proper and efficient installation of chutes and compactors.
Assign daily tasks, track progress, and ensure adherence to plans and safety standards.
Coordinate all deliveries of materials.
Field Checks:
Inspect sites before, during, and after installations to verify compliance with specifications.
Identify any on-site challenges and suggest and coordinate resolution.
Quality and Safety:
Enforce safety protocols and industry regulations.
Inspect installations for quality and accuracy.
Communication:
Act as the liaison between the field crew, project manager, and clients.
Report progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments.
Support:
Assist with installations when required, including handling tools and materials.
Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are inventoried, maintained, and available.
Key Competencies:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
Problem-solving and organizational skills.
Requirements:
Experience in chute/compactor installation or similar fields at least 5 years.
Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively.
Familiarity with tools, materials, and safety standards.
Travel to all job sites is required. Territory: All of New England.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in confined spaces.
Saraly Range:
70K – 80K Based on experience.
