The company works across a variety of sectors, including Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Military/Defense, Government, and Education, providing comprehensive building systems design services. Candidates with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Fire Protection will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Fire Protection/Life Safety design. In this role, you will develop and design building systems across various sectors while managing projects to ensure budget, schedule, and client goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop HVAC, Plumbing, or Fire Protection/Life Safety systems for commercial, healthcare, industrial, and government facilities.

• Manage projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and objectives are met while maintaining strong client engagement.

• Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure designs meet regulatory standards and specifications.

• Perform load calculations (preferred) and support project documentation.

• Use Revit and AutoCAD for design development and project management.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.

• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) or PE (Professional Engineer) license, and/or NCEES registration highly preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Fire Protection/Life Safety design. Candidates with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, OR Fire Protection will be considered for this opportunity.

• Experience with design and development of building systems in commercial and government sectors.

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Load calculation experience is a plus.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $40 – $58/hr. (equivalent to $85k – $115k annually, depending on experience).
