Job Overview:

The SAP I2C Lead Consultant is responsible for driving and optimizing the end-to-end Invoice to Cash process within SAP systems, with a strong focus on configuration, business process leadership, and cross-functional integration. The role includes expertise in SAP FI-AR, SD billing, integration via IDocs/APIs, SAP BTP cloud-based extensions, and project tools like JIRA. The I2C Lead serves as a liaison between business and IT teams, ensuring the solution design aligns with strategic finance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP I2C processes (billing, credit management, receivables, and collections) in SAP ECC or S/4HANA.

· Configure customer master data, dunning procedures, payment terms, dispute resolution workflows, and credit limits (including FSCM components if applicable).

· Manage integrations between SAP FI/SD modules and external systems using IDocs, BAPIs, APIs, and middleware (e.g., SAP PO, SAP CPI, or third-party tools).

· Utilize SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) for custom apps/extensions, enhancing I2C workflows and analytics.

· Design and maintain interface mappings for bank files, payment gateways, AR automation tools, and customer portals.

· Drive creation and management of Business Blueprints, process documentation, and process mapping using JIRA or Signavio.

· Coordinate with global business teams to gather requirements, write functional specifications (FDs), and lead testing cycles (SIT, UAT).

· Monitor and improve automation, dispute management, and digital dunning strategies to enhance working capital and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

· Ensure compliance with SOX/internal controls and audit requirements across the I2C process.

· Mentor team members, manage stakeholder communications, and provide ongoing support post go-live.

Required Skills:

· 8+ years of experience with SAP FI-AR and SD billing configuration in global project environments.

· Strong expertise in end-to-end I2C process areas including billing, collections, credit management, and dispute resolution.

· Hands-on experience with IDocs (e.g., DEBMAS, INVOIC, PAYEXT), ALE configuration, and interface troubleshooting.

· Experience with SAP BTP (CAP, Workflow, or Fiori Extensions) for extending SAP S/4HANA I2C capabilities.

· Proficient in writing Functional Design Documents (FDs), test scripts, and process flows.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA for user story management and sprint tracking.

· Strong communication, stakeholder management, and issue resolution skills in a fast-paced delivery model.

· Exposure to SAP FSCM components: Dispute Management, Collections Management, and Credit Management.

· Knowledge of S/4HANA innovations (e.g., Business Partner model, Universal Journal, Embedded Analytics).

· Familiarity with SAP BRIM/Convergent Invoicing for high-volume billing environments.

· Understanding of e-invoicing platforms, tax compliance integration (e.g., SAF-T, GST, VAT reporting).

· Experience with process modeling tools like Signavio, ARIS, or BPMN for business blueprinting.

· Ability to work in hybrid cloud/on-prem landscapes and manage system upgrades or cloud migrations.
