ms consultants, inc. is seeking a Senior Business Project Manager to join our expanding Water Resources team in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful water resources projects that enhance communities across the nation.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Business Project Manager, you'll lead and support multidisciplinary teams in the planning and execution of water resources specifically Stormwater MS4 projects. Key responsibilities include:

Serve as a Project Manager for major projects or an entire program related to MS4s and/or Stormwater Management.

Independently performs business development activities in pursuit of projects or new clients

Assisting clients (Department of Transportations and municipalities) overseeing the implementation and management of the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program. This role involves ensuring compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) regulations and other stormwater-related permits.

Producing technical reports, and regulatory submissions as required for projects.

Collaborating with internal and external project teams to ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance.

Managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and client communications.

Mentoring junior staff and contributing to division-wide technical development on MS4 and other relevant areas. What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a motivated, solutions-focused professional with strong leadership and communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant field.

Certified Professional Erosion and Sediment Control and MS4 trainer certifications or ability to obtain in 12 months.

15 years plus experience in Water Resources engineering, MS4s and Stormwater Management

Excel and enjoy working effectively and efficiently individually and in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with DOT and municipality storm water regulations and permitting processes.

Skilled in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).

Participates in technical associations, educational programs, and civic affairs in the best interest of the company. Holds significant roles, or actively influences others in the industry
