Job Description

Spearhead the creation and implementation of dynamic quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and single-point lessons to elevate operational excellence.

Decode complex drawings, documents, and specifications, ensuring seamless product and process integration for top-tier performance.

Track, analyze, and report on quality trends and performance, driving continuous improvements under the guidance of the Quality Manager.

Collaborate with the Quality and Operations Managers to design and roll out cutting-edge controls and enhancements that push the boundaries of quality.

Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives using PDCA/DMAIC or other innovative problem-solving techniques to resolve critical issues.

Develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions, ensuring sustained quality improvements.

Lead high-impact problem-solving teams to resolve major quality challenges, delivering swift and effective solutions.

Investigate and resolve customer, product, and supplier complaints, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.

Train Inspectors and Quality Technicians across all aspects of quality, ensuring a well-equipped and knowledgeable team.

Engage directly with customers and suppliers to resolve complex quality issues and maintain strong relationships.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the execution of PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flowcharts, enhancing product quality.

Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to select the best inspection methods and tools for accurate evaluations.

Support the Materials Review Board (MRB) in investigating NCRs, and when necessary, submit NCRs/CAPAs to customers for resolution.

Work with Engineering to create and refine essential procedures, work instructions, and inspection data sheets for optimal performance.

Harness the power of IMSXpress Quality Management System, Discus FAI Bubbling software, and ProLink SPC software to drive operational excellence.

Apply Risk Management and Risk Mitigation strategies to identify and address potential challenges proactively.

Collaborate across teams to support the development and prototyping of cutting-edge projects. The Successful Applicant

Over 5 years of proven experience in managing AS9100D and ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing setting; experience with IATF16949 or ISO13485 also considered.

Strong background in Heat Treat and Welding processes, with Nadcap experience being a valuable asset.

Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including working across multiple sites and time zones while navigating cultural differences.

Demonstrated success in high-paced, dynamic work environments, with a focus on metals and materials
