Head Janitor

Excel Facility Services is looking for an experienced and reliable head janitor.

Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.

Complete SOW as requested and assigned be manager.

Consults with manager for the purpose of planning, prioritizing and scheduling custodial activities and achieving site maintenance objectives.

Delivers a variety of items for the purpose of distributing materials to the appropriate parties within site as requested by manager

Distributes custodial supplies and equipment for the purpose of disseminating materials to staff and/or storage locations.

maintains in an attractive and clean condition, identifying necessary repairs to facilities and/or equipment, etc.

Maintains supplies and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of janitorial items required to properly maintain facilities.

Monitors staff in and around work areas for the purpose of ensuring site safety and correct, complete SOW.

Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.

Request/replenishes janitorial supplies for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities for daily use.

Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action or notifying manager for resolution.

Assign janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met Skills and Education Requirements:

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.

Good attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work independently as needed.
