Position Overview:
The Internet Manager is responsible for driving traffic to the dealerships. Their primary responsibilities are to handle leads in a timely manner, take customer calls, prepare price quotes, and take necessary steps to get the customer to visit the dealership. The Internet Manager will work to build a relationship with the customer and build an initial bond.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing customer inquiries that come through online channels and responding as promptly as possible, including outside of regular business hours.
Assisting customers with the online buying process.
Following up with leads and prospects, providing them with necessary information, and nurturing them in the sales funnel.
Building initial rapport and relationships with the leads.
Manages online sales channels to ensure a smooth and efficient online buying experience for customers.
Monitors the dealership’s website traffic to understand customer behavior, interests, and trends.
Manages and updates online listings on the website and other online platforms.
Works closely with the sales team to ensure that online and offline sales efforts are aligned, and sales targets are achieved.
Develops effective online marketing strategies to drive traffic, leads, and sales.
Qualifications:
Must have 2 – 3 years' experience working in automotive sales.
Requires digital marketing, communication, and sales skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with a CRM is required.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Monthly Unit Sales: Number of vehicles sold each month (new and used).
Gross Profit per Deal: Average profit generated per vehicle sold.
Lead Conversion Rate: Percentage of sales leads converted into sales.
Customer Satisfaction Score (CSI): Post-sale feedback and customer reviews.
Appointments to Show Ratio: Number of scheduled customer appointments that result in showroom visits.
Show to Close Ratio: Number of showroom visits that convert into sales.
