We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Partner Attorney (Labor & Employment) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a deep understanding of labor and employment law, with a specific focus on Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims, wage and hour disputes, and litigation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes cases, providing expert legal advice and representation to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Partner Attorney (Labor & Employment), your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment issues, including but not limited to PAGA, wage and hour disputes, and various forms of litigation.

2. Representing clients in state and federal court, as well as before administrative bodies, in all aspects of litigation, including trial.

3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex employment agreements and policies.

4. Conducting thorough and timely investigations into employment law violations.

5. Developing and presenting training sessions for clients on various labor and employment law topics.

6. Collaborating with team members to develop case strategies and prepare for trial.

7. Staying abreast of new developments in labor and employment law to ensure our clients receive the most current and comprehensive advice.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Partner Attorney (Labor & Employment) position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

3. A minimum of 7 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on PAGA, wage and hour disputes, and litigation.

4. Proven experience representing clients in both state and federal court.

5. Exceptional negotiation skills and experience with drafting and reviewing complex employment agreements.

6. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

7. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.

8. A commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional ethics and integrity.

9. The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, while also demonstrating the initiative to work independently.

10. The flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, court appearances, and other professional obligations.
