Job Title: Mid-Level Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Machine Operator for a temp-to-hire opportunity on the first shift. The role involves operating equipment to produce complex components according to blueprints or work instructions. The shift runs from 4:50 am to 3:20 pm, Monday through Thursday.
Responsibilities
Operate and set up machinery to produce complex components based on blueprints or work instructions.
Read and follow work procedures and instructions for duties to be performed.
Record daily output and maintain accurate logs.
Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to enhance quality and process efficiency.
Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential Skills
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 2 years of complex manufacturing experience with machinery troubleshooting abilities.
Experience in mechanical assembly or CNC is advantageous.
Proficient in verbal and written communication and ability to follow instructions.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, stooping, bending, walking, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
Capability to use hands steadily for operating manufacturing equipment.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical assembly experience.
Familiarity with blueprint reading.

Work Environment
This position is within a manufacturing facility where safety is the top priority. Employees must wear OSHA-approved steel or composite-toe shoes and long pants covering ankles and legs. Safety glasses are mandatory on the production floor. Acceptable attire includes jeans, slacks, and uniform pants, while sweatpants, shorts, yoga pants, and capris are prohibited. Shirt sleeves must cover shoulders and avoid offensive wording or images. All clothing must be free from tears, including those designed with such. Shorts, miniskirts, dresses, cropped tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, and open-toed shoes are not allowed.

This is a Contract position based out of DeLand, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
