We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The position involves assembling a variety of products, including mechanical and electromechanical parts, with a focus on small components. This role requires precision and the ability to work with very small parts using hand tools and tweezers. Successful candidates will review schematic drawings to confirm the sequence of assembly, bond or seal parts with epoxies, and perform in-process testing. The work environment is temperature-controlled, and the role is predominantly seated.
Responsibilities
Assemble a variety of products, including mechanical and electromechanical parts
Position very small parts such as fine pins, wires, and solder particles using tweezers or positioning fixtures
Bond or seal parts with epoxies using heating elements or ovens
Perform in-process testing to ensure quality
Review uncomplicated schematic drawings to confirm the sequence of assembly
Handle and assemble very small parts using hands and hand tools
Work at shoulder level, requiring some upper body strength
Maintain a clean and organized work stationEssential Skills

Ability to work 50+ hours a week and additional hours as required
Manufacturing experience preferred
US Citizenship or permanent resident statusShift & Pay
1st shift: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday, 5am - 1:30pm on Fridays
OT could be mandiated Monday - Thursday, depending on business means
$18.25 - $19.25

Work Environment
The facility is quiet, clean, and organized, with workstations lined up for assemblers. The role is 75% sitting and 25% standing on a typical day. Assemblers can cross-train across multiple parts and products. The dress code is casual (long pants, t-shirt, closed-toe shoes). Attendance and professionalism are highly valued, and the team works well together without drama.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of the Park 100 area of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $20.25/hr.
