Job Description

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team for the night shift (11p-7a) or afternoon shift (3p-11p) with opportunities for 10-20 hours of overtime. This position is based in East Canton, OH. The role involves operating, editing, and maintaining CNC machinery, as well as performing inspections and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

Operate, edit, changeover, and maintain CNC machinery.

Perform inspections and read blueprints.

Conduct CNC machining using manuals or CNC grinders based on previous experience and strengths.

Perform tool changes and maintain equipment.

Engage in multi-task machining activities.Essential Skills

4+ years of CNC machining experience from schooling or work experience.

Experience with CNC Mills, Manual CNCs, or CNC Grinders (OD/ID).

Ability to operate, maintain, edit/set ups, and conduct tool changes.

Proficiency in simple shop math.

Blueprint reading skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Fanuc programming is a plus.

Troubleshooting skills.

Experience with horizontal boring mills and manual lathes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates within a heavy industrial union environment, manufacturing large spun cast iron rolls weighing from 9,000 to 100,000 pounds. The facility supplies major companies and maintains a workforce of 30-40 employees. Expect a dirty environment with temperature variations 10 degrees hotter or cooler than outside conditions.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
