CNC Machinist

Job Description

Located in Shawano, WI

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 /HR

Hours:

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm

2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 2:00am (Every other Friday Off)

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 /HR

Duties:

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce precision parts

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards

Make minor program edits and machine adjustments to improve productivity and accuracy

Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment is clean and functioning properly

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on CNC machining experience (milling, turning, or both); 5+ years preferred

Experience with multi-axis CNC machines and familiarity with Fanuc controls

Solid understanding of G-code and the ability to make basic program edits

Proficient in reading blueprints and using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

Exposure to CAD/CAM software is a plus

Previous experience in a job shop or high-mix, low-volume production setting preferred

Strong attention to detail, quality-minded, and able to work independently or collaboratively as needed
