Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Job Description
The role involves performing a variety of routine mechanical assembly operations and conducting inspections to ensure correctness. You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble products based on blueprints, including screwdrivers and crimpers. You will apply process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell, record production time and quantity data, and actively demonstrate all safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine mechanical assembly operations.
Inspect own work and the work of others to ensure correctness.
Use hand and power tools for product assembly based on blueprints.
Apply process specifications for production within an assigned cell.
Record production time and quantity data.
Demonstrate adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Participate in cross-training activities.
Assemble detectors for commercial and military aircrafts, including brazing, leak tests, and working with switches/mates.Essential Skills
Minimum of 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read and communicate in English.
High School Diploma required.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in aerospace is a plus.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Thursday, 1st shift from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. The role is based in a manufacturing environment which can be occasionally loud, requiring steel toe shoes and safety glasses. The assignment is 90 working days temp to hire, approximately 4 months. Attendance is crucial, and tenure is highly valued.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
