Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all plant equipment and facilities. You will utilize your maintenance knowledge to increase productivity, decrease downtime, and reduce waste. The role requires a sense of urgency in responding to machine downtime events and involves completing in-house and occasionally external training programs to develop equipment-specific maintenance skills. You must adhere to all safety and company policies, including lock-out tag-out procedures.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

Rebuild and replace components to ensure equipment functionality.

Increase productivity by reducing downtime and waste.

Respond promptly to machine downtime events with urgency.

Complete in-house training programs and attend external training, which may require overnight travel.

Follow all safety and company policies, including lock-out tag-out procedures.Essential Skills

Electrical troubleshooting and repair.

Mechanical maintenance and repair.

Hydraulics and pneumatics systems knowledge.

PLC troubleshooting and repair.

Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

Welding skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.

Knowledge and experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.

Passion for maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
