Job Description
As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing all mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance for all plant machinery and equipment. Your role will involve responding to repairs and breakdowns, troubleshooting 480v electrical systems, 3 phase motors, fuses, sensors, switches, relays, VFDs, and encoders, as well as Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics,, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical motors, air compressors, fans, and pumps. Oil, lubricate, and replace belts, bearings, chains, shafts, sprockets, and gearboxes. Additionally, you will perform MIG and STICK welding as well as fabricate, assemble, and test parts as needed for various mechanical systems. Using CMMS computer program, you will manage work orders and order parts as necessary. Other duties may include painting, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs for industrial machinery and equipment.
Respond to and manage repairs and breakdowns.
Troubleshoot motors, fuses, relays, gearboxes, and encoders.
Troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical motors, air compressors, fans, and pumps.
Weld and fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical system parts.
Manage work orders and order parts using CMMS.
Assist with additional tasks such as painting, plumbing, and general building maintenance.Essential Skills
3+ years in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting including PLCs.
Experience in hydraulic troubleshooting.
Familiarity with computer systems, preferably CMMS.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electrical troubleshooting of motors, relays, and sensors.
Willingness to pursue further education with company support after one year.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.
