Job Description
Duties for this position include:
Perform variance analysis, process vendor invoices, month-end close entries, and prepare financial reports
Supports the monthly closing process, including journal entries and report preparation
Review records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts
Daily cash processing and reconciliation
Support periodical reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Examine accounting records, including financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standards
Proper maintenance and filing of financial records, making use of current technologies
Support the Controller in ensuring timely and proper reporting
Create forms and manuals for accounting and administrative purposes.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
Understand and follow internal accounting checklists, policies, and procedures
Support the annual audit process and ensure the timely collection of requested information
Additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary
Compensation (USD):
$85,000 - $125,000/year depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master's degree preferred
Financial accounting experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
Trustworthiness and Confidentiality in all matters
