Job Summary
The IT Support Technology Co-Op offers the opportunity to collaborate with both our IT team and broader City teams in various capacities while gaining experience that can be applied directly to future career opportunities. This role will work with our IT Support team to provide technical assistance to our production, warehouse, and corporate teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist a team of desktop support technicians in providing computer support to all internal and external users
Organize and maintain IT hardware and peripherals
Assist in process documentation
Assist in with the deployment of new equipment
Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone or ticketing system
Assist end-users with various hardware and software problems
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
Setup new user hardware/software
Maintain hardware inventory
Troubleshoot printers and scanners
Provide technical assistance to users and escalate incidents to, System administrators, System engineers, or Developers when appropriate
Receive, troubleshoot, and respond to Help Desk requests via phone calls or e-mails in a 24/7 environment
Assist in moving computers and phones for all internal user moves and new hires
Perform additional duties as necessary
This role will work part-time hours during the school year and part-time or full-time hours during school breaks. Flexible work hours can be established to match class schedules.
Minimum Qualifications
Current student pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field
Ability to work onsite at our Latrobe, PA facility
Proficiency in understanding basic computer functionalities, networking, and troubleshooting
Strong willingness to learn
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Excellent team player while still being able to work independently
