Summary of Job Duties:The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) is seeking a Extra Help/Athletics Assistant - Department of Athletics. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Athletics/Chief Revenue Officer, the Athletic Assistant will work collaboratively across multiple units in the Department of Athletics to assist with events including game operations, product ordering, development and special projects.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the successful candidate is someone with high energy and a positive attitude who will be flexible and adaptive to change, while demonstrating problem solving skills and the ability to employ ingenuity in their work. Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, organizational, and leadership skills are desired. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with special events including annual SpectacUALR gala, TOP Student-Athlete Awards, Athletic Staff Events etc.;

Assist with special projects related to facilities and operations unit;

Assist with product order and tracking from BSN/NIKE;

Assist with the execution of Trojan Athletic Fund (TAF) events as well as oversight of JSC suite operations;

Other duties as assigned.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to build consensus, foster collaboration, and inspire teams to achieve shared goals.
