Pre Press Technician

Position Overview\n \n Green Bay Packaging in Coon Rapids MN is looking for an entry level Pre-Press Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with graphics and tooling while supporting our manufacturing team.

This role is primarily administrative, offering a competitive starting pay of $20–$24 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.\n\nResponsibilities\n \n In this role, you will: \n\nMaintain records for tooling and print plates, including checking in/out and repair status.\nSupport the manufacturing process.\nCoordinate press checks with internal and external participants.\nEnsuring the availability of necessary supplies and materials in collaboration with the production team.\nUpdate CAD files with any changes.\nProviding coverage for the Graphics/Pre-Press Lead in their absence.\nPerforming other duties as assigned.\n\n\nQualifications\n \n To be successful in this role, you should have: \n\nStrong computer skills in Microsoft office programs and Adobe Creative Suite.\nPurchasing skills including the ability to negotiate expectations and deadlines.\nSome experience in graphics and pre-press is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.\nStrong communication skills, ability to work with internal employees and external vendors, a positive and professional image.\nGreat attention to details and problem solving.\nFamiliarity with color theory, proofing techniques and print processes.\n\n\nCompensation & Benefits\n \n Green Bay Packaging offers numerous opportunities for growth and advancement, as well as an excellent benefits package.
