As a Senior Clinical Laboratory Scientist Specialist, you will serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert within the lab.

Primary duties include: •\tInvestigating and developing new or modified test procedures while reviewing and refining existing protocols.

•\tOverseeing quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing activities.

•\tIdentifying staff training needs and assessing the competency of testing personnel.

•\tWriting and maintaining SOPs and developing training materials.

Salary Range: $60.71/hour - $78.17/hour Qualifications •\tCurrent, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.

•\tBachelor’s degree.

•\tMinimum of 4 years of licensed CLS experience.

•\tStrong knowledge and experience in Urinalysis.

•\tProficiency in evaluating Gram stains.

•\tExperience with procedure and report writing.

•\tAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

•\tDemonstrated experience in validation, testing, and troubleshooting.

•\tMust pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e.

visual acuity including color differentiation.
