Job Function: \n Reviews patient records, including admission details, current respiratory care orders, patient history, physical exam, PFT values, ABG results, and laboratory data.\n\n Sets up and maintains respiratory equipment as per instructions; attends department meetings and in-services as required.\n\n Performs patient assessments to monitor the effects of therapy and documents findings in the patient chart.\n\n Conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures to ensure adequate oxygenation, maintain a patent airway, and uphold proper humidification levels.\n\n Obtains and analyzes ABG results as ordered and in accordance with policy.\n\n Adheres to department protocols, including weaning protocols, patient ventilator monitoring, cuff pressure monitoring, and others.\n\n\n \n \n\n Job Requirements: \n 2 years of clinical experience.\n\n Current CRT or RRT license.\n\n National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registry certification.\n\n BLS and ACLS certification required.\n\n\n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
