This facility is state-of-the-art, and dedicated to providing outstanding patient-centered care.\n\n JOB SUMMARY\n\n As a CT Technologist you will play a critical role in our commitment to providing accurate diagnostic imaging services while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Your responsibilities will include operating CT (computed tomography) equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n\tPerform CT imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.\n\tObtain patient medical history and verify patient identification and consent prior to performing procedures.\n\tPosition patients correctly and operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images of the appropriate anatomy.\n\tMonitor patients during imaging procedures and address any adverse reactions or complications.\n\tPerforms all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.

\n\tEnsures equipment and supplies are ready for use for all procedures, including room cleanliness and stocking.

\n\tPractices medical and surgical aseptic techniques.

\n\tProvides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient, including pediatric, geriatric and general population.

\n\tMaintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.\n\tCollaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results.\n\tAdhere to all regulatory guidelines and safety protocols to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.\n\tMaintain CT equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality control.

Report any errors to the service engineer.\n\tParticipate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in imaging technology and best practices.\n\tWillingness to complete x-ray imaging.\n\n\n MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\n\nEducation / Experience / License and Certifications\n\n\n\tCompletion of an accredited radiology technology program, required.\n\tCurrent certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.\n\tCurrent State of Wyoming Radiologic Technologist License, required.\n\tBasic Life Support (BLS) certification, required.\n\tExperience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or healthcare setting, preferred.\n\tProficiency in operating CT equipment and other imaging technology, preferred.\n\tAdditional certifications or specialized training in CT imaging, preferred.\n\n\n Department Specific Education / Experience / License and Certifications\n\n\n\tStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.\n\tAttention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.\n\tFlexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.\n\n\n Additional Skills\n\n\n\tWorking knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.\n\tKnowledge of general anatomy and physiology.\n\tAbility to read and communicate effectively in English.\n\tAdditional languages preferred.\n\tBasic computer knowledge.\n\t \n\n\n Specific demands not listed: Possible exposure to blood and or body fluids / infectious disease / hazardous waste requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment.
