\n\n\nExperience as a School Psychologist: Preferred.

\n\n School Psychologist (NCSP / SSP / LSP) – Public School – Qualifications and Responsibilities \n\nConduct assessments (intelligence, achievement, functional, behavioral, social, emotional, and curriculum-based assessment) \n\n\nInterpret results for special education eligibility and individual educational needs.

\n\n\nProvide case management and coordination.

Crisis intervention when appropriate \n\n\nKnowledge of state and federal legislation for disabilities \n\n\nCommunicate effectively both orally and in writing, with staff, students and families.

\n\n\nLead collaboration and integration strategies.

\n\n\nFunction as an effective member of the Multi-disciplinary Team.

\n\n\nExperience leading teams in manifestation determinations, functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.

\n\n\nAbility to identify individual student needs and develop effective recommendations for the multi-disciplinary team.

\n\n License - Education - Certification Requirements: \n\nMinimum of a master’s degree in a field related to school psychology.

\n\n\nNationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential issued by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) \n\n\nState License if required by state regulations.

\n\n\nEndorsement or Certification as a School Psychologist if required by state regulations.
