Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician program or equivalent training preferred
Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT or CRCST) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a surgical or sterile processing environment.
Knowledge of infection control practices and standards.
Familiarity with various surgical instruments and their uses.
Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness before and after procedures.
Prepare and organize instrument trays for various surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary tools are included.
Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and instrument inventory.
