What you can expect as a Risk Management Analyst:

Analyze the companys portfolio monthly through various financial perspectives and come to data-based conclusions to make recommendations going forward to improve the business financial position.

Compile multiple data sets in Excel monthly preparing them for catastrophe modeling.

Perform catastrophe modeling analysis as requested by management to provide current financial impacts on the current book.

Ensure we are capturing all data possible to improve modeling results (ex. secondary building characteristics)

Monitor and research regulatory and environmental developments (ex. building codes) that could affect property risk profiles as the business expands or regulations are updated.

Assists in the preparation of presentation materials and proposals.

Identify concentrations of insured value (TIV) on a state, county, and zip code level that may pose concern as the business grows.

Identify where the business is over or under their annual business projections on a state, county, and zip code level.

Perform ad-hoc analysis as CAT events occur in real time.

What we are looking for as a Risk Management Administrator:

College Degree and 3 - 5 years related experience.

Catastrophe Modeling experience preferred.

6-20 License preferred.

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in final work product.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Well-developed organizational and time management abilities, with a proven capacity to handle multiple priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines.
