Laborer / Driver Helper

Our client is seeking a Laborer / Driver Helper to join their team. As a Laborer / Driver Helper, you will be part of a dedicated group supporting the collection of clothing donations throughout Orlando. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing environments, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laborer / Driver Helper

Location: Eatonville, Florida

Pay Range: $17/hour

Schedule:

Monday - Thurs (some Fridays)

4:00am until finished

Typically a 10 to 12 hour day

40-45 hour work week

What's the Job?

Initially function as a ride-along helper. After the client hires you directly, you will then be driving assigned box truck.

Assist in the collection of donation bags from over 130 clothing drop boxes throughout Orlando.

Load and unload bags into and from a 24' box truck.

Occasionally operate hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment during all operations.

What's Needed?

Prior experience driving a box truck (preferred or willing to learn).

Ability to climb in and out of a 24' box truck.

Ability to work in the elements.

Capability to lift up to 50lbs.

Valid Florida Driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to pass a 7-year background check and drug screening.
