We have an immediate need for an Project Manager (EIC) in Syracuse, NY.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).

Responsibilities

Coordinate construction efforts on multiple projects in design

Manage project team

Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and vendors to complete each project on time

Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project

Provide construction inspection for multi trade contracts to ensure the project is constructed in conformance with the contract requirements

Assist the project manager with field coordination between the Facility and trades

Assist the project manager with the management of Field Orders and Change Orders

Provide administrative oversight for all phases of work

Oversee/Inspect the work of contractors, provide progress reports, contract correspondences, manage the submittals, requisitions and change order process

Communicate directly with the client

Provide technical evaluations, advice and guidance

Manage multi-contractor projects as well as contractor compliance with project documents

Qualifications

Candidate must have a degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction Management or related field

Willingness to work at Correctional Facility

Ability to manage multiple projects

Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a role of Project Manager responsible for large-scale projects valued above $10 million, with an extensive knowledge of all facets of construction and construction documents

Ability to manage various projects using established controls and procedures

Provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety and quality

Experienced coordinating with designers handling any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client/facility

Full knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application

Compensation: Minimum: Min: $110,000.00 yr. - Max: $130,000.00 yr.

The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position.

Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location.

The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
