Job Title: Corporate Controller

Location: Minneapolis, MN (On-site)

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 base salary + 15% annual performance bonus

Position Summary

The Corporate Controller will oversee all financial activities of the company, including accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. Reporting to the CFO, this position plays a vital role in supporting the company's strategic and operational goals through strong financial stewardship and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.

Coordinate and oversee the annual audit process with external auditors.

Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to senior leadership.

Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and operational efficiencies.

Mentor and develop a small team of accounting professionals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus but not required.

8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or similar leadership role.

Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with system implementations is a plus.
