Midway Nissan is looking for an experienced Internet Sales Manager to join our growing team as Assistant Internet Sales Director, working closely with our Sales Director to drive internet appointments to the store. This person will be critical to our success within our Internet sales organization, and will lead the team to capitalize on every lead that comes through. We’re looking for someone who has experience growing sales within the automotive industry, coaching and leading a team to hit their targets, with a desire to get to the next level. The ideal candidate can step in and take over, but we will provide necessary training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Generate appointments and quotes by means of proactive outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market to potential customers

Manage business development representatives for internet lead generation process

Handle all incoming internet email leads

Be available to respond to email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner

Assist customers in appropriate vehicle selection – be the product expert & sounding board

Direct customers to product information resources, including those available on the internet

Check email frequently and respond to inquiries immediately

Deliver inquiries/messages intended for other sales personnel and departments promptly

Hold yourself and others to high moral and ethical standards and conduct yourself with honesty and integrity

Participate in the new hire and interview processes for all BDC reps/appointment coordinators

Oversee CRM usage

Create, maintain and measure the internet business development processes

Qualifications

Previous automotive dealership experience - 2-4 years experience preferred

Superior communication skills, both oral and written

Outstanding organizational skills

Ability to stay strong and calm in a stressful environment; must thrive under pressure

Must Pass Pre-employment Background and Drug Screen
