Role: Temp AR Billing Collections Specialist (Non-Medical)
Hiring Type: Contract
Location: Washington D.C
Office Schedule: in office 3x a week
Pay: $25 - $28/hourly
Our client, an extremely prestigious Non-Profit is need of AR Billing Collections Specialist for a contract (likely 3-6 months)
Requirements
2+ years of Accounts Receivable+ Collections Experience +
Must understand the accounting, mind set to understand deferred revenue
Experience with month-end closing process
Responsibilities .
Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting customers via email and phone, ensuring prompt payment application at receipt. This involves maintaining customer accounts and records of communications
Responsible for payment collections to ensure all past due amounts are collected while preventing the aging of current balances
Maintains all accounts receivable records
Ensure receivables are collected in a timely and efficient manner by taking proactive measures when necessary
Document all collection activity and research efforts into the specified database
Research and resolve problem arising from customers’ billings invoice
· Performs the day-to-day processing of accounts receivable functions -- cash receipts and invoicing transactions and ensure that processes are maintained in an effective and efficient manner.
Daily review lock box deposits appropriately – Membership dues, product sales, education program registrations, exhibit booth payments, sponsorships and exchange transactions, miscellaneous receipts;
