Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Supervisor to lead our billing operations. If you have a passion for accuracy, team leadership, and improving healthcare revenue processes, we want to hear from you!
Supervise daily billing operations and manage a team of billing specialists.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of medical claims to insurance payers, Medicare, Medicaid, and patients.
Resolve billing discrepancies, denials, and claims rejections.
Train, coach, and support staff to maintain high performance and compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with coding, clinical, and A/R teams to optimize billing and collections.
Monitor and report on billing A/R aging and payer trends.
Stay up to date on healthcare regulations, payer rules, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
2 years health insurance billing.
2 years experience in a long term care setting.
2 years experience using PointClickCare or other healthcare billing systems giving preference to users of PointClickCare.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
