PRESS OPERATOR ASSISTANT

Monday – Friday

7:00 am – 7:00 pm

$13.70 per hour, depending on experience

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Read and follow production specifications to assist with dough preparation.

Support the Press Operator in managing and changing dies.

Assist in operating the computerized control panel for the dough mixer.

Take product samples and monitor pasta moisture levels to ensure quality standards.

Perform regular internal and cosmetic cleaning of equipment and work areas.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, FSMA, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in all assigned areas on a daily basis.

Support food safety, food quality, and food defense protocols.

Report any concerns related to food safety, physical safety, or equipment functionality to a supervisor.

Perform additional tasks as assigned, including unloading pasta for regrind, weighing wet waste containers, and additional cosmetic cleaning as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with appropriate cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.

Willingness to work various shifts based on production needs.

Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

Commitment to maintaining food safety and quality standards.
