1st shift - Forklift Operator, $17.00/hr.-Piedmont, SC

M-F 7AM - 3:30PM/4PM

Workbox Staffing is hiring Forklift Operator in Piedmont, SC.

This is a Forklift Operator position working for an Automotive supplier in the Fountain Inn area.

Must have solid experience operating a Sit-down Forklift (At least 3 years in a Manufacturing) environment)

Responsibilities:

Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places

Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment

Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies

Transport raw materials to production workstations

Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance

Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs

Comply with company policies and legal guidelines

Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Qualifications:

Ability to drive a forklift is required. With experience at a Tier 1 facility.

Forklift license required

Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated abilities to communicate with other department team members as well as the company management team

Fluent in English (reading and writing)
