We have a current opportunity for a User Support person in our IT Department

Minimum Qualifications

2-3 years experience in a Desktop Support role

Firsthand experience in a corporate environment with the following technologies/products:

Windows 10 & 11

Microsoft Office Suites

Basic LAN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting with client computers and laptops.

Stand-alone and networked printer troubleshooting and repair

Desktop/Laptop hardware repair

Must have CompTIA A+ certification

CompTIA Network+ certification preferred

Position Requirements

Respond to voice mail, email and user requests for tier 1 technical support for 400+ user base.

Analyze and resolve problems associated with hardware, operating systems, application software, printers and PC LAN connectivity

Performs a wide variety of tasks in software/hardware maintenance and operational support of client systems

Actively searches company database for previous solutions

Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

Create/Maintain technical and procedural documentation

Adhere to company procedures

Ability to work assigned tickets to resolution and projects as assigned

Personal Effectiveness:

Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate must have ability to work within a team environment to achieve shared goals. Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively are essential.
