We have an immediate opening in our Lake County location for a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will provide financial analysis and support to Accounts Receivable (AR) managers and team. Understands and interprets financials and other key business data.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Perform a variety of complex duties in general accounting such as analyzing accounts, preparing reports, reconciling intercompany accounts, and performing the monthly financial close and consolidation, plus review the work of the operations staff each month. Develop processes to make sure that all SOX and audit requirements are complete and are in compliance with all Abbott Corporate Policies and Procedures. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Office is located at Abbott Park in Lake County, Illinois. This job is in office and not available for remote working.

Responsible for month end close reporting

Responsible for corporate and division reporting

Responsible for audit and SOX compliance

Ability to produce reports on an Ad-hoc basis, including the analysis of data prior to providing

Reconciliation and review of cash sub accounts

Perform and coordinate the Accounts Receivable activities for shared services

Continuously improve process design focusing on simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization

Contribute to process improvement reviews

Evaluate best practices with global peers and develop improvement suggestions

Coordinate and complete Annual review of SOP’s

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in accounting or finance.

Knowledge and understanding of overall Order to Cash processes

Effective communication and interpersonal skills that can interact with all levels of management in a dynamic environment.

Attention to detail with a propensity for continuous improvement

SAP ERP experience a plus

Tech savvy

Strong Excel skills

Preferred

SAP knowledge desirable

Power BI familiarity

The base pay for this position is $75,300.00 – $150,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
