Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science to support an innovation-focused research grant centered around AI, data science, and large language models (LLMs). This is a remote, temporary position that will run from now through the first week of August 2025. The student will assist with model development, tool prototyping, documentation, and research coordination as part of a dynamic grant team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support AI and data science projects, including working with large language models (LLMs).
Assist with literature reviews, tool development, and technical documentation.
Help process, analyze, and visualize datasets relevant to the grant.
Contribute to internal reporting and deliverables for the funded project.
Participate in regular remote check-ins and collaborative team meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science or a closely related field
Strong programming skills in Python
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, HuggingFace, LangChain, PyTorch, etc.)
Comfortable working with structured and unstructured data
Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation
Self-starter who is reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large language models or NLP-related coursework/projects
Familiarity with collaborative tools (e.g., GitHub, Notion, Google Docs)
