Lab Technician/Technical Service Representative

Our client, a leader in the research and development sector, is seeking a Lab Technician/Technical Service Representative to join their team. As a Lab Technician/Technical Service Representative, you will be part of the Research Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Technician/Technical Service Representative

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Pay Range: $22.50 - $24.00/hr

What's the Job?

Conduct quality control testing of incoming raw materials and finished products using appropriate lab procedures.

Assist chemists with product development experiments and report findings.

Respond to technical service inquiries and resolve application problems in the lab and field.

Maintain quality control equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper calibration.

Prepare and maintain an inventory of sales samples and assist in customer seminars.

What's Needed?

Skill and initiative in using tools and equipment in a lab setting or construction site.

Ability to learn laboratory techniques and industry terminology.

Physical capability to lift 50 lb. objects and work in various environments.

Effective verbal and written communication skills for documentation and instruction.

Proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and specialized software.
