Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
Involved in all aspects of the architectural practice with an emphasis on the implementation of the firmwide goals including design and technical support on multiple projects
Fiscal oversight including budgeting, revenue management and monitoring the profitability of projects. Develops scopes of work and fees for architectural and engineering services
Works with Financial Manager to facilitate monthly reporting
Responsible for the administration of contract terms and conditions, project set up, staffing, scheduling, project delivery as well as coordinating with engineering disciplines and consultants
Direct client interaction: Nurtures existing and develops new relationships. Serves as the liaison between Architect and Client. Maintains day-to-day communication with client’s team, including any consultants hired directly by the client. Understands and ensures that the Client's objectives and expectations for the project are realized
Assists in the preparation of marketing proposals and participates in presentations
Collaborates with the other project leaders to develop the design intent and development of the concepts for the project. With the Project Architect, facilitates and ensures all required LiRo work-flow tools and standards are implemented including BIM Execution Plan
Schedules and conducts Project Leadership Meetings and keeps the Business Unit Head and Deputy Business Unit Head apprised of the critical issues on the project. Work closely with the other project leaders to develop clear and action-oriented agendas for meetings
Reviews the Work Plan regularly with the other Project Leaders and the project team and ensures that projects are delivered in accordance with the procedures outlined in the firm’s Project Delivery Handbook
Responsible for recognizing performance issues or skill gaps of team members and working with them to improve
Qualifications
Professional Degree in Architecture from an accredited college is required
RA License required
10+ years related industry experience
Strong conceptual, communication, planning and organization skills and capability of working well as a leader in a team environment in a variety of projects and tasks
Familiarity with Revit/BIM
Experience with NYS & NYC Codes and Regulations

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment.
- Compensation: Min: $150,000- Max: $175,000. The range provided is the salary that the Firm in a good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate's qualifications and location.
