Data Center Commissioning Engineer

As a Data Center Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in the commissioning of Amazon-owned data centers. You will work alongside a diverse team of experts, including engineers, supply chain specialists, and security professionals, to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Your mission will be to ensure the construction quality meets customer requirements by managing the commissioning of systems such as:

Medium and low voltage power systems

Generators

UPS

HVAC systems

Chilled Water Systems

Building Management Systems (BMS)

Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)

Testing and balancing

Pumps and Hydronic systems

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee testing and validation of AWS data center infrastructure.

Review design documents, lead Factory Witness Testing (FWT), and manage third-party commissioning vendors.

Address technical issues proactively and ensure project schedules are met.

Audit vendor compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards.

Collaborate across teams to prioritize tasks and resolve issues.

Document and share lessons learned to foster team development.
