Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing technical projects under the guidance of our Technical Lead Engineer or Technical Experts, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Apply your 5-10+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical Design using CATIA V5, particularly in the Aerospace domain.

Assist project teams in innovative problem-solving to develop effective solutions.

Collaborate on structural design, mechanical design, electrical wire harness design, and understand material properties.

Demonstrate a solid grasp of industry standards, aircraft requirements, design, and certification processes.

Engage in aerospace material selection, drawing creation (either drawing-based or Model Based Definition), and perform essential analyses like tolerance stack-up and product quality investigations.

Utilize CAD tools (preferably CATIA V5) for modeling, drafting, and Model Based Definition.

Basic Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Proficient knowledge of mechanical and structural design principles.

Familiarity with industry standards and aircraft design requirements.

Experience in engineering analyses and material specifications.

Working knowledge of CAD tools for modeling and design practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in new product development projects.

Strong knowledge or experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Exposure to Model Based Engineering practices using CAD tools.

Experience with PDM/PLM tools such as ENOVIA or Team Center.

Proficient with MS Excel and familiar with MS Power BI.

Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and flexible in working hours to accommodate project needs.
