After years of industry experience and hands-on development of our proof of concept, we're now expanding our founding team to build for GTM. The Role

As our Founding Engineer, you'll work directly with the CEO and senior leadership to design, build, and scale the core backend infrastructure that powers our platform. You will have autonomy, ownership, and influence over key technical and product decisions.

Responsibilities

- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (Fastify preferred)

- Design and optimize ETL processes for ingesting, transforming, and delivering large datasets

- Architect, develop, and manage robust RESTful APIs to support platform integrations (e.g., OpenAI API)

- Manage PostgreSQL databases, design schemas, and leverage Prisma ORM for data operations

- Implement asynchronous workflows, robust error handling, and rate limiting mechanisms

- Oversee backend deployment, scaling, monitoring, and logging

- Champion security best practices, authentication standards, and environment management

- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and frontend teams

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience working with LLM APIs or AI-powered workflows

- Basic familiarity with React and modern frontend stacks (e.g., Next.js, Vercel)

- Hands-on with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) or batch job schedulers

- Writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, Supertest)

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment (e.g., Vercel, AWS, Railway)
