Financial Controller – Private Manufacturing Company (On-site Andover, MA area)

Are you a hands-on finance leader with strong manufacturing experience and a passion for driving results? We are seeking a site level Financial Controller to join our leadership team at an established manufacturing company located near Andover, MA.

In this critical role, you'll oversee all financial and accounting operations, from monthly closes and cost accounting to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. You’ll be a trusted business partner to both site and executive leadership—helping to shape decisions, improve performance, and ensure strong financial stewardship.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the finance and accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting

Develop and implement cost accounting and inventory control systems

Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, including cash flow planning

Provide operational and strategic financial analysis to improve business outcomes

Oversee internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness

Partner with leadership on pricing, capital investments, and margin improvement initiatives

What You Bring:

BS in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred

High level of accountability and attention to detail

7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role

Strong cost accounting background

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems

Leadership experience managing finance teams
